🚤🌿 Paddling Together for a Cleaner Kallang River 🌿🚤
On 27 Jun 26 (Sat), GO Holdings was proud to co-organize a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) river clean-up event at Kallang River together with the Waterways Watch Society (WWS).
Before heading out onto the water, our team attended an introduction and environmental awareness session conducted by WWS. We learned about the importance of water to Singapore, how NEWater helps strengthen Singapore’s water sustainability, and the simple actions we can take in our daily lives to conserve water. The session provided valuable insights into Singapore’s water journey and reinforced the importance of protecting this precious resource.
Using pedal boats, our team paddled along the river to collect floating litter and debris, playing our part in protecting Singapore’s waterways and promoting environmental stewardship. Through our collective efforts, we successfully collected a total of 45 kg of rubbish from the river and its surrounding waterways. Every piece of litter removed contributes to a cleaner and healthier environment for our community and wildlife.
We sincerely thank the Waterways Watch Society for partnering with us and sharing their expertise in protecting Singapore’s waterways. We are also grateful to all our colleagues and volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to make this event a success.
