CSR Event: Clean Up at East Coast Park
4th January 2025, our company came together for an inspiring Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative—a cleanup event at the East Coast Park. With a shared commitment to protecting our environment and giving back to the community, 20 employees joined hands to make this effort a success.
Under the warm morning sun, our team gathered, equipped with gloves, trash bags, and a strong sense of purpose. The goal was simple yet impactful: to clear litter from the beach and park areas, ensuring these spaces remain pristine for all to enjoy.
The event began with a short briefing on safety and guidelines for effective waste collection, followed by the distribution of tools and materials. The team then spread out across designated zones, working diligently to remove debris and litter from the shoreline, pathways, and greenery. From plastic bottles to stray packaging, every piece of waste collected was a step towards a cleaner environment.
In just a few hours, our group managed to collect numerous bags of trash, leaving the area noticeably cleaner. Beyond the visible impact, this activity reinforced the importance of environmental sustainability and reminded us all of the role we play in preserving our planet.
The event also served as a fantastic opportunity for team building. As we worked side by side, laughter and camaraderie filled the air, strengthening bonds between colleagues outside of the usual office environment.
